What is TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) — 5mg?
TB-500 is the synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), a ubiquitous protein found naturally in nearly all human and animal tissues. It plays a crucial role in cell migration, differentiation and regeneration. Each vial contains 5mg of lyophilized TB-500, ≥99% purity, HPLC tested with COA. TB-500 promotes cell growth, angiogenesis and reduces inflammation systemically — a property that distinguishes it from locally acting peptides such as BPC-157. The peptide binds actin and thereby regulates cytoskeleton structure, essential for wound healing and tissue remodeling. TB-500 is popular among researchers studying accelerated healing of tendon injury, muscle tears and joint inflammation. The active sequence LKKTETQ is responsible for most of the regenerative effects. In research protocols TB-500 is administered subcutaneously, with doses of 2–2.5mg twice weekly as a loading schedule, followed by a maintenance dose of 2.5mg per month. The substance requires reconstitution with bacteriostatic water. For laboratory and research purposes only.

Thymosin Beta-4 was originally isolated from the thymus. TB-500 is the synthetic version of the active fragment. Scientific research shows effects on wound healing, cardioprotection and neural recovery. Human clinical studies are limited but promising in the context of cardiac regeneration. TB-500 is on the WADA prohibited list as a peptide hormone.
